There are several different types of fillers that have been specially formulated for specific areas of the face. Not just another filler, Sculptra is a biostimulatory aesthetic injectable that helps stimulate your own natural collagen production to smooth facial wrinkles and improve skin tightness.

WHAT IS COLLAGEN?

Collagen is a fibrous protien that helps maintain your skin's shape and structure. The skin needs collagen to resist signs of aging; such as fine lines, wrinkles, and sagging. We stop producing it at age 26 and continues to deplete year after year. By the age of 35-40, most of us have lost up to 20% of our natural collagen.

WHAT IS SCULPTRA?

Sculptra helps stimulate natural collagen production.6 The poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA-SCA) in Sculptra forms a framework that helps support and maintain the skin’s inner structure, which may lead to a more youthful-looking appearance.

HOW MANY TREATMENTS DO I NEED?

It is recommended "1 vial per decade". Meaning your treatment plan will include a series of appointments spaced 6-8 weeks apart until you have reached your desired results or compelte your treatment plan as agreed upon with your provider. Normally 2-3 appointments with 2 vials per appointment is average.

WHERE AREAS CAN I TREAT WITH SCULPTRA?

Sculptra can be used to enhance appearance to cheeks, smile lines (nasolabial folds), chin, jawline and jowls. These injections are best for those with loose skin

WHEN WILL I SEE RESULTS?

You will see immediate results and plumping of the skin. This will slowly dissipate as your body absorbs the solution that has been injected. As your body integrates the medication, you will slowly notice skin improvement. Most people see minor results within 1 month, with more noticeable changes within 3 months. These results will continue to improve and build the collagen after each additional treatment, and can last up to 2 years.

WHAT SHOULD I DO AFTER TREATMENTS?

Aftercare instructions include to massage the treated areas to evenly distribute the Sculptra. Our Golden Rule is 5-5-5; 5 minutes, 5 times a day, for 5 days.
