Fibroblast, or some might call it, plasma pen, may seem hard to understand but in all reality it's very simple. This pen allows a micro wound / burn to occur on the face, or treatment area which ignites your own body's healing cascade. When your body senses a wound it creates white blood cells and fibroblasts, which then creates collagen and elastin to heal the area. And over time, 8 to 12 weeks, you will see noticeable differences in skin texture and tightness. 

 

This small device allows great precision and allows treatments to areas that are otherwise off limits to large laser devices. While this procedure can be very harmful, if not done correctly by a Trained professional the results can also be amazing.

 

HOW DO I KNOW IF I'M A GOOD CANDIDATE FOR FIBROBLAST?

While Fibroblast works amazingly, there are some individuals who are not ideal candidates. If you experience any of the following, then this treatment is not a good choice for you. 

 

Fitzpatrick skin type V ir VI

Hyperpigmentation

Hypopigmentation

Keloid scarring

Vitiligo

Lupus

Epilepsy

Immunocompromised

Pregnancy or breastfeeding

 

WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT WITH FIBROBLAST?

Fibroblast is great for tightening the skin. The pen will leave tiny dots on the treatment area. You will leave with some redness and mild swelling. The redness and swelling may continue for 3-5 days. The dots will scab up and fall off…DO NOT under any circumstances pick off your scabs! There is about a 5 to 7 Day healing period, so plan your treatment accordingly. You will be sent home with a post-care healing kit. Normally 2 sessions are recommended to achieve your desired result. With that being said, each client is different and will require a different treatment plan.
