Biotin injections are great for growing and strengthening hair, skin, and nails. Biotin is a naturally occurring B Vitamin, B7 to be exact, that we can never get enough of in our food consumption. If your skin is dry and itchy, like it can be in Colorado, Biotin can help heal and draw moisture into your skin. This shot is to be given once per month. (NOTE: When taking Biotin supplements, please notify your doctor if you have any upcoming lab work. In some studies, it has been shown that Biotin levels can give false readings on some other lab measurements. It can also interfere with medications such as anticonvulsants. Since Biotin is a water-soluble vitamin, you will pee out any excess your body does not need. Overdose is not a concern.)
