What is NAD+?
Nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD+) is a coenzyme present in almost all cells of the body. Essential in metabolic function, slowing the aging process, promoting athletic function, boosting brain repair and function.
We naturally produce NAD+ but production decreases with age. NAD+ is the closest we can get to the “fountain of youth”. Intravenous use of NAD+ activates enzymes in the bloodstream called “Sirtuins” and helps to reduce the side effects of aging.
Administering a high dose of NAD+ via the bloodstream, compared to other routes (i.e. oral) will provide a faster, more effective outcome and quickly optimizes the body’s NAD+ levels.
With intravenous NAD+ therapy, the molecule works rapidly to repair cells throughout the body and neurons in the brain. It helps to overcome depression, anxiety and other common mood disorders. Obtaining optimal brain function can help make everyday a good day!!
What does NAD+ do for me?
-NAD+ can help with inflammation, joint pain, improve immunity, help with mental clarity, memory, focus, resolve brain fog, increase energy, reduce anxiety, depression, and improve sleep by regulating circadian rhythm. It can do much more as well!!! Results are immediate but will vary from client to client.
How will I feel when I get NAD+?
– NAD+ can make you feel “floaty” and “tingly” during the infusion. Some may also feel lightheaded or dizzy when standing, so please inform your nurse before needing to use the bathroom. Infusions should be started at a lower rate for the first time and slowly worked up to a max rate of 250mL per hour. Nurses will monitor each client throughout the infusion for any changes that may take place. Clients may feel nauseous occasionally. If this happens, we will turn the rate of infusion down, which fixes the nausea quickly.
How often can I get an NAD+ infusion?
-It is safe to receive the 500mg dose and is recommended as a monthly infusion.
How long does the infusion take and how long will I feel the effects?
-The infusion can take between 2-4 hours. Each client will react different to NAD+ and therefore the effects range from 15-30 days.
Do I have to continue getting NAD+ infusions or is one enough?
– NAD+ acts by repairing cell damage. Cell death and damage is occurring constantly and continues to age. NAD+ will help repair already damaged cells but due to ongoing cell damage, ongoing infusions are needed to reach best results.
How much does NAD+ cost?
$350 for 2-4 hour infusion
